The Sims 3: Launcher – Store Content Constantly Uninstalls Itself [Solution]

Problem
Every time I start my new launcher, part of my store items (including Dr. Pepper & T-Mobile stuff) uninstall. I need to reinstall every time.

Solution
Presumably, by installing a patch / update the EADM files are installed in which the store stuff shot out. Now, nothing can install it and remove the things themselves automatically. To solve the problem, all you have to store content downloaded package.

  1. Close the Launcher
  2. Move the files *. ebc and missingdeps.idx from the folder [user data directory] / Sims3/DCCache on the desktop.
  3. Start the launcher again. All your things are now uninstalled
  4. If you download the stuff from the folder, not regularly it deletes it and now everything is new, otherwise you copied the downloads back in the downloads folder or invite you into the worst case scenario, the stuff from your purchase history will have to be downloaded again.
  5. Close the Launcher.
  6. Starts the new Launcher and check that everything is still installed. If so, you can continue playing normally. If not, the method does not work for you.
