Yep, you read right, The Sims Social is not available to play. over 4 million people have already began to play. So whether you have the PC version of The Sims 3 or the console version; or neither. This game will feel unique to you.
For those who are familiar with The Sims will already have a hands up on other players. Just like in the game, you can choose a personality, customize your Sim and live in your own world, the way you want to.
Just so you’re warned, being that this is probably one of the most anticipated facebook games this year, the game may be a little laggy due to the traffic from the servers. Over time I’m sure this will gradually change.
I really like the tune that plays, it gives the feel of the real game. The interface is well thought out and you have a lot of options to choose from in the customization department without having to use Facebook Credits; which I’m sure will probably change. When you’re done customizing your Sim, you of course will move on to a very familiar screen so to speak. The tutorial screen. It looks as if you already have a neighbor, and of course she will help you along in the game.
As you can see, her name is Bella and you reside in a nice little town called Littlehaven. There are a lot of key features in the game that really familiarize with The Sims 3. The sounds, the way the homes are set up etc. If you know about The Sims 3, you know that the same rules apply to this game. Except there is no way to bring up the command console and type in ‘testingcheatsenabled true’. Your Sim will need to eat, sleep, bathe and mingle. As you get further along in the game you will see how EA made the game relatively the same as the PC version.
Hopefully this is enough to get you started. I will update as much as I can, when I can. Have fun.
